Our client, based in Ravenhall, is a leading logistics provider for agricultural waste. They have a part time, 6 month maternity leave Accounts Payable position available with an ASAP start.
The role:
- 3 days/wk (flexible to also be 4 days, during school hours)
- Pay rate $33/hr casual base rate
- Ravenhall based office
- ASAP start
Role responsibilities:
- Input and coding of invoices
- Processing invoices and checking for accuracy
- First point of contact for debtors chasing payment for invoices
- Performing financial reconciliations and reports
- Verifying & processing claims
- Scheduling pay runs & completing reconciliations
- Month end reporting including journals and report compilation
About you:
- Proven experience in Accounts payable role as you will need to hit the ground running
- Strong MS Office skills, particularly excel
- Proficiency using XERO software
- Excellent customer service skills and polished personal presentation to build relationships with customers
- Attention to detail, strong organisational skills and ability to work to deadlines
- Strong English literacy and spoken communication
- License and reliable form of transport
- Unlimited working rights in Australia
- Committed to a 6 month contact with no plans for holidays or extended leave during this period
