Reporting To: Planning & Supply Chain Manager
Location: Somerton
Employment Type: Temp to Perm ( Start as a casual Full Time Hours with the view to go Permanent)
Start Time: 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM
Pay Rate: $35.86 per hour plus Super

Position Summary
Our client is seeking a highly organized Supply Chain Import & Export Coordinator to join their team. This role will work closely with logistics, export, and shipping companies, as well as internal departments, to ensure the smooth despatch of goods to customers. The successful candidate will provide excellent customer service, track inbound and outbound shipments, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
Key Duties

Liaise with shipping companies to arrange the collection of goods and coordinate with the despatch team to ensure timely deliveries.

Create shipping and export documentation for all shipments.

Book transport services as required and liaise with transport companies.

Identify potential shipping risks and monitor recovery plans.

Maintain an audit trail for all export-related transactions.

Communicate risks and concerns to facilitate recovery planning.

Ensure efficient shipping processes and maintain accurate pricing records.

Ensure compliance with Australian and international import/export laws.

Manage payment terms in accordance with company policy.

Provide support to the Planner Scheduler and internal stakeholders as needed.
Key Requirements
-
Minimum 2 years' experience in a Logistics, Shipping, or Export role.

Previous experience in a customer-facing role.

Experience with SAP and order entry systems.

Knowledge of the building products industry.

Preferably experienced in a manufacturing environment.
- Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol test
- Must be available to start ASAP
