Our client is a leader in the field of Chemical Blending, Formulating, and Packaging.
They operate a fast-paced production site, that involves production fill lines, machine operation, batching and blending of chemicals, packaging and storage solutions.
Currently there are day shift positions available for experienced production operators and forklift drivers (counterbalance and reach operators) to join their growing warehousing team, with a view to permanency.
Shift Time: 7am or 8am -5pm, Mon-Fri with OT on Saturday offered during peak (Spring-Summer).
Production Duties include:
- Operating a variety of chemical production and packaging machinery
- Placing caps/lids/triggers onto bottles
- Labelling, stacking and packing goods into boxes/pallets
- Manual handling
Forklift Duties include:
- Performing material handling operations using reach & counterbalance forklift
- Loading and unloading trucks & containers
- Preparing materials for storage or shipment
- Stock picking orders and moving around the warehouse.
- Manual handling & palletising
- Stock put aways to correct warehouse locations
- Checking for damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies
- Replenishments
To be considered for this role, the following are essential to your application:
- Previous experience in manufacturing or production
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment
- Fit for heavy lifting and standing for long periods
- Full rights to work in Australia
- Can work in a chemical dusty environment
- Strong English speaking, reading & writing literacy
- Can commit to working Monday to Friday every week + Optional overtime
